Thanksgiving weekend is a holiday that nearly everyone looks forward to each year. Many people enjoy this one even more than the Christmas holidays. This may be due to the fact that Christmas Eve is a day that many businesses remain open and operational so not everyone gets Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off. However, Thanksgiving usually comes in the form of a four day holiday as it hits on a Thursday. Many people get Thursday through Sunday off and that gives them time to go traveling. Also, it is important to remember that the day after Thanksgiving is considered to be the biggest holiday shopping day of the year.
