A Thanksgiving card is something that is not expected by most people. It is not like a Christmas card or a birthday card. This greeting card is more like an optional or selective one. While there are many different Thanksgiving greetings created each year, and many people DO buy them to send out to family and friends, it is still not a holiday that everyone assumes they will get a card for. In fact, it is more of a special and sweet surprise when one of these cards is received. It shows that the sender really does care about the receiver and is happy to use any excuse to say so.
