World of Warcraft Cataclysm - New Features
Compared to the other series of the WoW games, the World of Warcraft Cataclysm series is visioned to have a lot of improvements from its first two releases, The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich. World of Warcraft Cataclysm the game brings players back to the Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms as these two continents have been greatly devastated by the Deathwing's rage, bringing forth new adventure.
World of Warcraft Cataclysm the game has new features as well, making the gaming experience as lively as ever.
The promised new features of the World of Warcraft Cataclysm release will be
- Thousands of new quests, making the game more challenging.
- New towns, making a new place for another adventure.
- Ammunition use would no longer be included in the game's features.
- Updated zones and new look of the continents Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms.
- The usual level cap which is 80 will then be raised another 5 levels.
- Prime, a new type of glyph.
- Addition of Archeology as a new secondary skill.
- Goblins and Worgen, new races. These new races are playable.
- Reconstruction and change of the stat system, as some stats would be removed and integrated to the new ones. (ex. No more mana per second, but will be categorized under other stats)s
- Changes to other cities in the game.
- Usage of flying mounts will be enabled with zones in Azeroth.
- Addition of the Heroic mode for players in level 85 for the dungeons Deadmines and Shadowfang Keep.
- Players will have more freedom, as they will be enabled to choose class combinations and race for their own characters.
- New stats (e.g. Mastery) which will then enable to enhance some abilities according to the talent specification and class of the player.
- New raids and dungeons.
- Support of new DirectX11.
- Enabling guild advancement system, thus, leveling and rewards would be possible. Guild talents and guild currency though, is removed to make way for this new feature.
- Bonuses for the guild advancement will be based on guild level and would be unlocked automatically.
- Cancellation of the announced new feature, which is the character progression through Paths of the Titans and Ancient glyphs.
...and even more features will be available in the World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion. The players and enthusiasts are surely excited about the new expansion of WoW. There is no specific date as of its release, but the CEO of Blizzard entertainment confirmed that its releasing will be due anytime this year.
